DENVER, Colo., August 8, 2023 — ShopBIPOC, a digital platform dedicated to promoting and supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) entrepreneurs across Colorado, is excited to announce its official launch. Developed with the mission to reduce the racial wealth gap by directly connecting institutional and individual consumers to BIPOC entrepreneurs, ShopBIPOC enables buyers to make intentional purchases in alignment with their values.
The launch event on Thursday, August 31st will celebrate diversity and entrepreneurship and is open to the public. This event will bring together founding partners, BIPOC entrepreneurs, consumers, procurement professionals, and community leaders, all united in their commitment to the success of BIPOC-owned businesses. The festivities will be held at the People’s Building in Aurora, and will kick off at 5:30PM.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The ShopBIPOC launch party will feature a short program, including:
- Community Voices: Community leaders, founding partners, and BIPOC entrepreneurs will share the impact of this initiative.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with others who are passionate about putting their spending where their social values are.
- Showcasing BIPOC Entrepreneurs: Learn about and meet the BIPOC entrepreneurs who are on the ShopBIPOC platform.
- Live Entertainment and Performances: Enjoy live entertainment and performances that will celebrate our BIPOC communities.
